I am just trying to figure out the easiest way to post pictures on here...haven't quite figured it out yet...I'm a little slow. This is my brother Cory shaving our dog Miles...strangely Miles was very comfortable with this idea...

Church Camp

Jason and I just got back from a week of little sleep in the San Bernadino Mountains in southern California. We were lucky enough to go with our church high school group to Thousand Pines campground (www.thousandpines.com) to help with the summer camp. It was fun! There was little sleep, and a busy schedule, but it was worth it. California is beautiful and I loved the cool weather.

On another note, my next dr. appt. is on July 12, and I will be getting an ultrasound, which I'm totally excited about!

Darned strawberry flavored water...

...yeah, so I've thrown up twice today...I think it has something to do with the strawberry water I drank earlier...

Day 4

and so far, no throwing up...

Dr. Appt.

I had my monthly ob appointment today and everything went well. The doctor checked the baby's heart beat and everything sounded good...there is still just one heart beat in there...which is comforting! My next appointment I will get another ultrasound, which I am excited about because I just keep thinking of the baby as the little "blob" from the first ultrasound, and sometimes it's hard to think about it looking like an actual BABY! And this is day 3 in a row of not throwing up! It's been awesome!

14 weeks and 6 days

I'm not saying that I'm out of the woods yet...but let's just say it's been 2 days now and I haven't thrown up...so maybe everyone was right when they kept telling me "it'll get better...trust me..." Maybe this whole pregnancy thing won't be too bad afterall. I have my next appointment tomorrow and can just hardly wait (ok, I'm being a little sarcastic...) It also just occured to me that I never posted the whole pie in the face incident...I'll get on that soon.

HELP

Ok, now that I've made it through my first year of teaching (just barely) I am ready to enjoy a nice summer of relaxation. I've also found out that I'm teaching first grade next year, which I don't really want to do...first graders scare me. Any suggestions???? I need all the help I can get...
