September 25th

Yesterday was our 6th anniversary. I know compared to some couples that doesn't seem like much, but I can't believe how much time has gone by already! Time really does go fast.

My doctor is concerned because my blood pressure is high. Friday she hooked me up to the baby monitor and everything with the baby looked good, however, she is still concerned because my blood pressure seems to be high during school (I teach 2nd grade...yeah, a bit stressful!) So, if it doesn't get better she is putting me on bed rest. For those who pray, please pray that my blood pressure levels out and everything will be ok. I go back in today for another check up, so I will have more information this afternoon.

Cold Front

It's finally cooling down out here, today it only reached 98 degrees. I almost had to get my sweater out...

My evening

I spent yesterday evening in the hospital. It was interesting. I was having contractions (which I just thought were "weird pains") so my doctor told me to go to the hospital. After getting slightly FREAKED out, I was given some meds to stop the contractions, which made me feel like I just drank a Venti Caramel Frappachino with 3 extra shots of expresso. I felt like sprinting through the halls of the maternity ward. They also did some tests to see if I had preclampsia because my blood pressure was high and my feet and legs were swollen. But everything came back good. Sooo, nothing to worry about. But, I took the day off school anyway to sit with my feet up and to sip on some ice water...I feel good about staying home, but I still hate leaving my students with a sub....

A Flatter Bladder is Gladder

What the heck? I have to pee like every 20 minutes...and I'm not exaggerating.


I had my monthly dr. appointment today and I am 27 weeks now...sheesh...BUT the doctor said I was measuring at 29 weeks....yikes. She didn't change the due date, she is going to wait and see what I look like next month...wow, changing the date by 2 weeks would mean that I would be due around...THANKSGIVING.

It's probably just a fluke thing...
