Wow!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful advice, you don't know how much of a help it has been. I really don't know anyone who has a baby in the last 10 years, so this advice is awesome! Ok, my next set of questions is concerning diapers...Does it really matter what brand I get or is there any specific brand that is better than the others. What about store brands? Also, what about a "Diaper Genie" worth it or not?

baby registry

Well, Jason and I are trying to figure out what to register for, and we have NO clue. Any suggestions??? How many of what should we be getting? What kind of bottles should we get? There are like a million to choose from...

Please give me some suggestions on what I NEED and don't need....

More 4-D pics

Here are some more of the 4-d images, these things are amazing! The first one is a shot of his head and he has his arm up beside his face, the second one is another of his legs, I loved this one because I could see his tiny toes wiggling around! Also, based on the size of the baby she changed my weeks by just one day...instead of being 18 weeks and 6 days, I am now 18 weeks a 5 days...due date is the same though, December 8th!

It's a BOY!!

Here he is, our SON! The first picture is one of the 4-d images of the baby's legs, you can see that the umbilical cord is wrapped around his legs! The next one is an image of his feet, he was busy kicking them around, and the doctor was able to capture them quick. The next couple are just of random pictures of his face (the one makes him look like an alien!) and of course, the weewee shot...which we were a little surprised about(This is the one at the very bottom that says "boy".) We thought we were having a girl!

It's 3 a.m.

I can't sleep...so what better way then to spend my time blogging? When working with junior high and high school students one tends to get a lot of emails related to making wishes, and secret crushes, and all that other "chain email" sort of stuff. Also, about 2 times a week I get one of those "getting to know you survey" type emails where I'm supposed to cut and paste the email into a new window and then answer all of the questions and then email it back to all the people who sent it to me so they can "get to know me better." Well, I decided I will do a small version of that right here...

What was I doing 10 years ago?
It was the summer I turned 16, right before my Junior year...hmmmm, I was probably getting ready for volleyball to start and begging my parents to let me start driving...

5 years ago?
Um, I had been married for almost a year, and Jason and I had just moved to Washington D.C. I was working at a crappy gift shop and we lived in a small efficiency apartment! I was also getting ready for volleyball to start!

1 year ago?
I had just found out that I got my first teaching job, and I was quitting Wal-mart!

Yesterday?
Well, at this time yesterday, I was sleeping.

5 snacks I enjoy:
fruit roll ups, rice krispie treats, sour patch kids (this one is hard because ever since I've gotten pregnant nothing sounds good to me anymore...) dill pickles, chocolate chip cookies...just out of the oven, with a large glass of milk.

5 songs I know all of the words to:
Achy Breaky Heart, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song, Brower (Sp?) County Auction, pretty much any song from "The Sound of Music" and...hmmm, my mind is blank, I can't think of anymore!

5 locations I would run away to:
Italy, Ireland, Maine, Canada, Wayne County Ohio

5 bad habits I have:
chewing my nails, not speaking up for myself, don't clean up after myself, procrastination, starting a project and not finishing it.

5 things I like doing:
scrapbooking, taking naps, shopping for school supplies, spending time with my husband, getting ready for Baby Turner

5 T.V. shows I like:
Desperate Housewives (sorry...), Grey's Anatomy (sorry again!), Friends, Friends, Friends

5 joys of the moment:
Feeling Baby Turner moving, and getting sleepy...ok, that's only two, but I'm going to go to bed while I can...

18 weeks and 1 day

Ok, not my best angle...but none the less here is a picture of my belly...all of the sudden it just started stickin out! (ok, not that it was totally FLAT to begin with...) I also tinkle when I sneeze now...who knew? Also, the place is a mess because we just moved...get over it.
